Move License to Another PC
Problem
You need to use your KWT Labs license on a new computer but activation fails because the key is already in use.
Symptoms
- Error 101 or "License already activated on another device"
- Cannot activate on new PC until old machine is deactivated
- Old computer is no longer available or was wiped
Cause
Standard KWT Labs licenses allow one active machine at a time. The license must be deactivated on the old PC before activating on a new one.
Resolution
- 1On your old PC: open the product → Help → Deactivate License. Confirm when prompted.
- 2On your new PC: install the latest version from kwtlabs.com/downloads and open the app.
- 3Enter your license key and click Activate Online.
- 4If the old PC is unavailable, email support@kwtlabs.com from your purchase email with your key (partially redacted) to request a manual reset.
