Downloads FAQs

Download the installer from our Downloads page, run the .exe file, and follow the setup wizard. You need administrator rights on Windows. After installation, launch the app and activate your license key when prompted.

Visit the Downloads page and choose KWT Spider or Mind Studio. The current stable version is listed on each product card. You can also open Help → Check for Updates inside the app when online.

Yes. Previous releases are in the Downloads Archive for licensed users who need a specific build. We recommend the latest version for security and bug fixes unless support directs you otherwise.

Our installers are digitally signed. New releases may trigger SmartScreen until reputation builds — choose "More info" then "Run anyway" if you downloaded from kwtlabs.com. Never install from third-party mirrors.

Compare the SHA-256 checksum on our Checksums page with your downloaded file. On Windows, run certutil -hashfile filename.exe SHA256 in Command Prompt. The hash must match exactly.

Use Help → Check for Updates in the app, or download the latest installer and run it over your existing install. Your projects and license are preserved. Close the app before updating.

Download only from kwtlabs.com or links in our official emails. Verify the digital signature on the installer (right-click → Properties → Digital Signatures). Compare SHA-256 hashes on our Checksums page before running.
